Space buns are the perfect hairstyle if you’re looking for something more out-of-this-world than a ponytail or top knot. Casual and trendy, space buns look great when you’re going to a music festival or wanting a fun summer style.

We’ve put this simple tutorial together to walk you through how to do space buns step-by-step. Don’t worry—doing space buns aren’t rocket science!

Step 1: Part hair in centre then divide hair into top and bottom.

Step 2: Smooth hair with brush or fingers into two high ponytails and secure with small hair band.

Step 3: Wrap ponytail around its own base and pin to secure (you may need few pins to ensure it stays in place)

Step 4: Mist Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray over whole head. Then concentrate the spray very close to the hair along the parting to make it wet.

Now it’s time for that all important sparkle!

Step 5: Sprinkle hair glitter along the parting that has been saturated in hairspray. You can use whatever colour you wish. We have used pink this time!
