Forget everything you think you know about skeleton makeup. We’re ditching the white paint this Halloween and turning the spooky skeleton up a notch with our fabulously frightening skull makeup. Think warm browns, peach blush and LOTS of gorgeous shading. This one’s to die for.
Don’t worry – you don’t need to be good at art for this step! Using the Collection Eyeshadow Palette Sahara Dunes, draw a line across your cheekbones and along your jawline with an eyeshadow brush. Keep it nice and light – you want the lines to look fairly subtle at this stage.
Switch to a black eyeliner penciland draw over the lines to really make them pop. Blend them with the same eyeshadow brush as before to create that signature sallow skull look. The more sunken in, the better.
Take a darker shade from your Sahara Dunes palette and buff it out around your outline. You should now really start to see a skeletal shadow forming.

Step 5: Warm your bones

Step 6: Eye-eye
Now it’s time to move on to the eyes. Using the Sahara Dunes palette, generously cover your eyelids with one of the darker eyeshadows. Then, swap to the Ibiza Sunsets palette and apply a warmer shade above your eyelid crease. Line your lower lash line with the same black pencil from before and blend. If your eyes aren’t looking sunken enough yet, don’t be afraid to add more!
Step 7: Lighten up
Psst, who said being dead had to be pale and boring? Bronze your forehead and temples and highlight under your eyes using one of the warmer brown shades from the Ibiza Sunsets palette.
Moving on to the lips, draw two lines out from the corners of your mouth with your black eye pencil. Shade over those lines using the same colour eyeshadow you used for your under-eye highlighter and contour your nose with a darker brown hue.
Step 9: Bold and beautiful
Using a white eyeliner pencil, highlight your cheekbones and jaw outline. Then, apply a white liquid liner over the same lines, making them as bold and bright as possible. Stick with the same liquid liner and draw teeth on your lips. If you’re a bit nervous about this step, start small and build them up.
Finally, use your Ibiza Sunsets palette to fill in the gaps between the teeth with a spooky shadow.
