Bobby pins
Comb
Clear elastic poly hairbands
Hairspray

Step 1:
First, section your hair into two equal sections down the middle of your head and plait both sides, securing with a clear elastic hairband.
Step 2:
Take your braid over the top of your head and hold in place using a bobby pin. For thicker hair, use more than 1 bobby pin to secure into position.
Step 3:
Repeat step two for the second braid, bringing over the opposite side.
The two braids should be adjacent to one another at the top of your head and secured tightly in place.
Step 4:
Use hairspray to hold your braids in place.
Tip: It’s best to do this hairdo on unwashed hair as the braids will hold better.
Step 5:
To give your milkmaid braids a more bohemian look, loosen and pull hair strands from the front of your face and push your tied hair upwards for a more relaxed feel.
