Add the spook factor to your Halloween look with these spine-tinglingly cool spider web nails. Achieving the look is not as hard as you think and can be done in 4 simple steps.
Step 1 – Prep Your Nails
To make sure your nail art and colour stay on for as long as possible, it’s important to prepare your nails. Bring the cuticle back, file and buff your nails. Once everything is prepped, apply the top coat. You can go for either a transparent or light coloured one.
Step 2 – Paint it Black
It’s time to add the main colour to your nails. Using a black nail varnish, apply two coats to your nails, making sure the polish dries in between coats.
Step 3 – Start on the Spider Webs
Take a thin brush and a white nail polish. Add a bit of product onto the brush and draw five or four thin lines outward from the right corner of your cuticle. Repeat this on every nail.
Step 4 – Add Connecting Curved Lines
With the same thin brush, add short curved lines connecting the long thin ones. This will create a spooky spider web look on the surface of your nails.
Step 5 – Top Coat
To prevent the nail varnish from chipping too early, it’s always a good idea to add a top coat once your nail art and polish have completely dried.
