Step 1 – Paint nails black
Black cats have been associated with witchcraft and serendipity for as long as we can remember (ahem, Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch). So there’s really only one colour to go for on the base and that’s black. Apply two coats for a streak-free, block finish.
Step 2 – Add white dots
When your base is completely dry, dip a nail art stick/cuticle stick (or if you’re lacking in the nail tool department, you could try a toothpick) into white nail polish. In the bottom corner of the nail blob on four small dots in a curved alignment and in the centre create a larger blob – this will give you the paw outline. Repeat this in the opposite corner.
Step 3 – Top coat
Finish with a transparent top coat to prevent any dreaded chipping and add a hint of gloss.
