If you’re planning on heading to Parklife this weekend (9-10 June) and you’re yet to decide what makeup look you want to rock, we may have the solution. Ariana Grande is always a great source of style inspo, so as soon as we spotted her Coachella 2018 makeup look, we fell in love and couldn’t resist recreating it. Her lilac hair and outfit totally inspired us, so we incorporated the gorgeous colour into our look, along with a fierce feline flick and a lil cluster of gems. If you’re after something a little more understated for festival season, make this look your go-to…
Lilac lids
Pale purple took Insta by storm last year, and there’s no let-up on the love for lavender. Use a fluffy brush to apply a wash of lilac all over your lid. There’s a matte shadow in the MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Tropical Oceana that’s perfect for this.

Deeper and deeper
Add some dimension by deepening the colour in your crease. Take the dark purple matte shadow in the same palette on a denser brush and wiggle the pigment through your crease. Using a brush with closely packed bristles will help you pick up more product and intensify the colour.
Pack on the pink
Lighten your inner corner with the matte pale pink shadow in the same palette. Pack this shade onto the inner third of your lid, blending it into the lilac you’ve already applied.
Fierce flick
Now the shadow is done, it wouldn’t be an Ariana Grande look without a big ol’ cat’s-eye flick. For precision, we used B. Pro Longwear Gel Eye Liner in Black on a skinny brush and applied it in one continuous swoop to the upper lash line.

Add some lash
Increase your flutter factor with a pair of falsies. Use Eylure Enchanted Strip Lashes in Rose & Thorns, with a lick of B. Volumizing Mascara to blend them with your natural lashes.

Get your glow
For that lit-from-within look we’re all lusting after, sweep a generous amount of e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls over your cheekbones and Cupid’s bow. This will give your face Ariana-style definition and create that summer glow everyone wants to have at a festival.

Just a gem or two
It’s no surprise to see sparkles on faces, hair and, well, everywhere at festivals! But going for that much glitter is a serious commitment, as you’ll probs be finding specks of it for months afterwards. For less hassle, go for a small cluster of gems under one eye, like Ariana’s. To mimic this, we used a cluster from Barry M Face Jewels in Mystic Mermaid. It’s as simple as peel, stick and slay.

Peachy pout
We’re sticking with the understated theme for lippy. Just a swipe of B. Cassie Lomas Matte Liquid Lipstick in All About Me will do the trick. And it’ll last all day, so minimal touch-ups required… yas!
