Hollywood Makeup – Stage 1
Step 1: Create your base
First prime your eyes to create an even base for your eye products to be applied to. Next, using an off-white colour, cover your eyelid as the base colour. This will accentuate the darker colours that follow.
Step 2: Cover your Crease
Using a light-medium brown eyeshadow, apply to the crease of your eye. This will add depth to your eye making them pop.
Step 3: Darker shades
Go for a dark brown and blend in the outer corners of your eyes. This will add further depth to our eye as well as neatly framing the look. With the same colour, line your bottom lashline.
Step 4: Shimmer
Add shimmer to the inner corner of your eyelid. This will create the glitzy, glamorous Hollywood look.
Step 5: Highlight the look
Using your off-white eyeshadow tone, apply to the brow bone to highlight the Hollywood makeup look.
Step 6: Eyeliner
Using a liquid eyeliner, line your eyes creating a subtle cat flick at the end.
Step 7: Eyelashes
Curl your eyelashes using an eyelash curler. Next, apply a black mascara to your top and bottom eyelashes to frame the look.
The Look so Far
Hollywood Makeup – Stage 2
Step 1: Contour cheeks
Using a brown bronzer/contour palette, contour your cheekbones to make them more prominent. You can identify your cheekbones by sucking your cheeks in and blending along the line.
Step 2: Blusher
Apply your preferred colour blusher. Slightly smile on each side of your face to reveal your apples. Brush your blusher here to make your cheeks pop.
Step 3: Highlight
Using a shimmery highlighter, dust over the top of your cheekbones and up towards the top of your brow bone. Think of it as a “C” shape.
Step 4: Line your Lips
Using a lip liner or lip brush, apply a cross along your cupids bow. This will ensure accuracy and neatness. Continue to fill the rest of your lips with a lip brush, adding some lip balm to gloss.
Optional
You can add some eyelashes to give an ultra glamorous finish to your look.
