How To: Spring vegan makeup look

Early mornings and evenings are getting lighter and so is our makeup coverage. When spring rolls around, we like to ditch the heavy-duty winter war paint and trade it in for a lighter, dewier finish. To welcome the season, we asked professional makeup artist Thembi Mkandla to show you how to create a gorgeous spring makeup look. It’s fresh, it’s feminine and it’s free of animal products. 1. Prime time

For that supermodel finish and to make sure your makeup stays all day, you gotta get the primer on. Apply B. Priming Souffle all over your skin.

2. Beaming base

That glow-from-within finish starts right here with the application of your base. Mix a little B. Cassie Lomas Sheer Liquid Illuminator with B. 3. Precision perfecting

Cover any imperfections with B. Flawless Concealer Duo. The key to ensuring a natural finish is not piling on too much, so use it sparingly and only where you need it.

4. Bright eyes

It’s time to perk up those peepers. Mix the same concealer with a little of the B. HD Radiance Pen to brighten up the area under your eyes.

5. Brow power

Brush through your brows to groom them, then fill them in with B. Pro Long Wear Brow Cream. The product is long-wearing, and the creamy formula makes it easy to get the finish you want, whether that’s a natural or a strong look.

6. No-shadow eyeshadow

To tie tones together, we used bronzer and blush to create the eye makeup for this look. First, lay down a base of B. Cassie Lomas Whipped Bronzer all over your eyelid and blend out with a fluffy brush. For a stronger look, use a denser, flatter brush to blend the product through your lower lash line. Set with B. Matte Bronzer in Medium, then intensify the outer corners by blending in a little B. Blusher in Sweet Dreams, to add a little colour. For a fluttery finish, give your lashes a lick of B. Volumizing Mascara.

7. Bronze boost

Warm up your complexion by sweeping B. Cassie Lomas Whipped Bronzer lightly over your face, focusing on the areas that would naturally catch the spring sunshine.

8. Blush flush
