HOW TO: Red and gold Christmas makeup look

Nothing screams festive like a red and gold combo… but why stop at the baubles? We just couldn’t resist creating a makeup look with these Christmassy colours, and take it from us – the end result is the perfect balance of classy and festive. Just what you need for that approaching office party.

1. Clementine crease

Apply a burnt-orange shade from the MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Burning Embers to your crease. Then apply the same colour under your eye, blending across the lower lash line.

2. Red hot and smoky

Now you’ve got your transition colour in place, it’s time to add a red shadow from the Burning Embers palette. Pack the pigment onto your eyelid and blend into the crease to create a smoky effect. Then sweep the product down from the outer corner and blend it along the lower lash line.

TOP TIP: Lift the eyelid upwards to give yourself more space when blending.

3. Gold touch

Time for some sparkle! Apply B. Cassie Lomas Glitter Pigment in Supermodel Sheen to the inner corners of your eyes. Then blend it into both the upper and lower lash lines.

4. Flutter-full lashes
