What Will I Need to Create this Winter Nail Art Design?

Step 1 – Perfect your base

File and buff nails until they are similar in size and shape. Take a pale blue polish and apply two coats so you have a colour block base.

Step 2 – Create the candy cane outline

Dip a cuticle stick in white nail polish and create the outline of your candy canes. To get an even design, mimic the shape of a heart.

Step 3 – Add the stripes

Once your outline is dry, take a clean cuticle stick and coat in red nail polish. Then draw even stripes along your candy cane, making sure that both sweeties are symmetrical.

Step 4 – Apply a top coat

To prevent any chipping and to add a hint of gloss, we’re finishing up with a transparent top coat.
