Star Award Winners: Haircare & Fragrance
Best Curly Hair Product
The winner of the 2023 Star Award for Best Curly Hair Product is Shea Moisture. And for those of us with curly hair, we say, ‘Thank you’ Shea Moisture, for keeping our unruly manes under control and in perfect condition! Got curly-girl problems? Shea Moisture has a range of natural haircare products to tame your curls. They offer shampoo, conditioner, hair masks and leave-in conditioner that help to restore hydration levels, improve hair texture and leave your hair looking and feeling healthier. Each product is made with organic and natural ingredients that are sustainably sourced and cruelty free. With deliciously named ranges such as Coconut & Hibiscus, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Manuka Honey & Yogurt and Superfruit Complex, how can you resist?
Speaking of hair and hydration, the Star Award for Best Shampoo & Conditioner goes toL’Oréal Paris Elvive. Connoisseurs in all things beauty, L’Oreal Paris have been creating products to cater to our demanding hair needs since 1909. Today their Elvive range offers everything from oils, serums, shampoos and conditioners for every type of hair to help repair, hydrate, or protect.

Best Styling Product
Who won the Best Styling Product award? L’Oreal Paris, again! This time for their legendary Elnett hairspray. The history of hairspray can be described as ‘Before Elnett and After Elnett’, that’s how legendary it is! Before its launch in 1960, hairspray was not much fun! It was akin to spray on glue and gave a shellacked crispy look. Enter L’Oréal’s Elnett Hairspray – the first brushable hairspray that featured superfine polymers to give both hold and flexibility. Now the women of the 60s could sport bouncy, sexy hairstyles! Try it for yourself!
L'Oreal Paris Elnett

These super food, super nourishing vegan hair masks are made with 98% natural ingredients and come in five delicious flavours. They can be used in three different ways: as a conditioner, a mask, or a leave-in conditioner. And did we mention that these masks smell good enough to eat?!
The Best New Feminine Fragrance winner is Fame, by Paco Rabanne. Fame is the epitome of a feminine fragrance that features a refillable bottle, is vegan-friendly, and created with sustainable ingredients. And let’s talk about the ingredients. Succulent mango, pure jasmine, vanilla, and creamy incense. Want to smell sexy and luxurious? This perfume has your name on it!

It’s warm, it’s sophisticated, it’s intense, and it’s the Star Award winner of the Best New Masculine Fragrance!
Hugo Boss

Best New Premium Fragrance
The final award in this category is for the Best New Premium Fragrance. And the winner is… *drum roll* Prada Paradoxe! The new signature scent from Prada is a fresh floral and musk fragrance. It has delicate, crisp notes of neroli, extracted just as the flower blooms to capture the freshest essence. Amber accords bring it all together for a dynamic, warm, sensual vibe.
Quick fragrance tip from the experts: Perfume is intensified by the warmth of your body. Apply it to the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer lasting, stronger effect.
