It’s the escapism we need RN, all bottled up. Yes, Versace has done it again with its sizzling hot fragrance Dylan Turquoise – and you can get your hands on it at Superdrug!
When we first saw the ad campaign, shot on a picture-perfect island off the coast of Sardinia, we had our suspicions that Versace’s Pour Femme Dylan Turquoise would fast-become a new summertime go-to. Fronted by Hailey Bieber (and blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-cameo by Bella Hadid), it conjures up the holiday vibes that we so desperately crave!
It will come as no surprise then that Donatella Versace cites the inspo behind the perfume as an ‘escape to faraway islands where the blue sky meets crystal waters, and the sea breeze caresses the skin”. Ah, bliss.
Note Perfect
It promises to transport us to a glam getaway and is described as an ‘ode to the sensuality of the Versace woman.’ But what that actually translates to in fragrance terms is a head-turning blend of zingy citrus, fruit and soft florals. Perfumer Sophie Labbé worked closely with Donatella herself to send our senses to the Mediterranean with a single spritz.
Bursting with Primofiore lemon, Sicilian mandarin and pink peppercorn at the top, it has got that ‘ooooh, what are you wearing?’ power. The heart adds a tropical touch with guava juice, jasmine petals and freesia before settling to a sensual musk-meets-woody base.
It’s an uplifting antidote to perk up your everyday routine – especially if that’s looking more like working from home in your pj’s as opposed to jetting off first-class to Greece (but we can dream, right?).
Smells Good, Does Good
Not only has Versace experimented with new, innovative technology – like combining odour molecules from the peel and flesh of the fruit to add depth to the notes – but the brand is also paving the way for sustainability in the fragrance world.
With a planet-friendly pledge to tread a little more lightly on the earth, the perfume has been created using quality ingredients sourced from traceable and sustainable supply chains. And 85% of said raw ingredients have been certified as biodegradable.

Dylan Turquoise is the newest – and final – member of the Dylan Blue family, which has been a firm Superdrug fave since it launched back in 2016. With each scent inspired by the brand’s iconic eye for glamour and love of the Mediterranean, the fragrances let you tap into the luxe life without needing to fork out for a yacht.
