Beauty without Bias
From the boom in male grooming to gender neutral ranges the beauty industry has changed dramatically over the last few years with our customers demanding more choice, more transparency and less labels. And we are delighted to help!
We have long championed accessible beauty for all and in 2018 opened a Beauty Without Bias pop up shop to celebrate how our exclusive makeup brands have embraced diversity and inclusivity.
The pop up shop showcased edits of products from some influencers who we have long admired, whose personal ethos echoes that of the Beauty Without Bias campaign. Gary Thomson (@ThePlasticBoy) is renowned for transforming the beauty industry without being categorised by his race or sexuality, Emily Davidson (@Fashineyesta) doesn’t allow her visual impairment to stop her from being an avid beauty lover, Naomi Oni (@TheNaomiOni) who has fought the stigma of facial scarring after an acid attack and trans-activist Charlie Craggs (@Charlie_Craggs) who uses her manicurist skills to tackle transphobia.
We believe that offering an inclusive environment for our diverse and beautiful colleagues to work, and customers to shop is key and look out for more from the Beauty Without Bias campaign this year.
