How do I know if I will be eligible for the FREE NHS Vaccination Service?

You can find out if you are eligible for the free NHS flu vaccination service at the following links relevant to your region (England or Wales).

England - www.nhs.uk or Wales - phw.nhs.wales

Alternatively, we are offering the Private Flu Service at a discounted rate for Health & Beauty Card members across all our UK Pharmacies and Health Clinics. Please use the booking portal to choose the route thats right for your needs.

When can I book my appointment from?

Private flu vaccination service opens from September
If you are pregnant, you can also book from September

Appointments can typically take 10 minutes, however we can flex for an individuals needs or circumstances.

Do I need a vaccination if I had one last year?

It is recommended to receive a flu vaccination annually as protection decreases over time and flu strains often change each year

How should I prepare for my appointment?

If the appointment is for a child you may be asked to provide evidence of parental responsibility. For further information please see the Parental rights and responsibilities on Gov.uk website

Ensure you wear loose fitting or short sleeves, as the flu vaccination is usually injected into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.

Are walk-in appointments available?

We love to see you pop over to the health teams while shopping for your beauty essentials! Walk-in appointments are available across all participating Superdrug Pharmacies and Health Clinics; however we please ask for your patience in the case of a store being exceptionally busy. Booking ahead guarantees you have the alotted time organised.
