Liposomal treatment of dry eyes and eyelids
Medical device based on liposomes containing trehalose and ingredients like jojoba oil
and terpinen-4-ol (active component of natural oils such as Tea tree oil). It is indicated for
the irritation of the eyelid area that often accompanies dry eyes, but also blepharitis and
other common eye diseases. After product application, a pleasant sensation of well-being
is immediately perceived.
The particular formulation of the spray is able to restore the lipid component of the eyelid
epidermis and ensure the maintenance of correct hydration; the recovery of the
hydrolipidic balance allows to resolve the symptoms of burning and itching of the eyelids
and reduce the swelling and edema resulting from the continuous chafing of the irritated
eyelid.
The spray formulation allows uniform application of the product on the eye surface
without the need for direct contact.
