Heartburn is caused by stomach acid rising up into the oesophagus. Today, many frequent heartburn sufferers rely on antacids or alginates to manage their symptoms. Antacids and alginates target the acid in the stomach once it has been formed. Whilst these treatments can provide fast relief, they do not deliver the sustained protection that frequent sufferers may like. NEXIUM Control is different, controlling acid production in your stomach right at the source Indications Nexium Control could make you forget all about your heartburn, with one pill each morning, you can experience 24hr protection from frequent heartburn.
Warning or Restrictions
For short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if:
You are taking any medicines listed in the package leaflet.
You are over 55 and have new or recently changed reflux symptoms.
Product Specification
Each Gastro-Resistant Tablet contains 20 mg Esomeprazole (as Magnesium Trihydrate). Contains sucrose. See package leaflet for further information. As we are always looking to improve our products, our formulations change from time to time, so please always check the packaging before use.

Product Uses
Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets. May take 2-3 days for full effect. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor. Read the package leaflet before use.
