Product Information
Hedrin 4% Lotion is used for the eradication of headlice infestations.

Features
Hedrin is a clear colourless solution.
Benefit
Hedrin 4% does not contain any harmful insecticides. The solution creeps deeply into the breathing system of lice, nymphs and eggs resulting in suffocation. Because this mechanism of action is physical, the development of resistance in lice is not possible.
A head lice comb is provided in this pack so use this to check for lice following treatment as it may take a second dose.
Warning or Restrictions
Do not use:
•In infants younger than 6 months of age.
•Discontinue use at the first appearance of a skin rash or any other skin irritation.
•For external use only.
•Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, flush with water.
•Keep hair away from sources of ignition, especially naked flames and burning cigarettes, whilst being treated with Hedrin. Treated hair can readily burn if ignited.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.
•If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking.
•If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist.

Product Uses
For adults and children aged 6 months and older: apply sufficient lotion evenly over dry hair and allow to dry naturally. Leave on for at least 8 hours or over night and rinse thoroughly with water and shampoo afterwards. Repeat again after seven days to ensure any lice which may have hatched in the time are killed.
If a member of the family has live head lice, check the other family members and treat all other cases of live head lice which are discovered at the same time.
