Ferrous Sulphate tablets are used to treat anaemia caused by lack of iron in the diet or loss of iron from the body.

White sugar coated tablets.
Warning or Restrictions
Do not use if:
You have an ulcer of your stomach or small intestine.
You have had repeated blood transfusions.
You have anaemia caused by deficiency of vitamin B12 or folic acid.
Not recommended for use in children.
Contains sucrose and glucose. If you have been told by your doctor that you may be intolerant to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.

Do not take with tea, milk or eggs as they reduce absorption of the medicine in the stomach.

Active ingredients: ferrous sulphate 200mg, equivalent to 65mg of ferrous iron.
Other ingredients: Lactose, kaolin, glucose, sucrose, povidone, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulphate, starch, opaglos and titanium dioxide (E171).

Product Uses
Always take ferrous sulphate tablets as instructed by your doctor. For prevention of iron- deficiency anaemia, adults and elderly, take one tablet daily. For the treatment of iron- deficiency anaemia, take one tablet two to three times daily. Treatment should not last more than three months after anaemia is controlled.
