Returns Information
Marketplace items cannot be returned via Superdrug Stores, Online Help Team or the Superdrug Warehouse.
Authorised returns must be sent back to the Marketplace seller within 28 days of receipt. Please raise a return request via your online account or shipment confirmation email.
Stores are unable to accept Marketplace returns as the order was placed directly with the seller and therefore a refund cannot be actioned in store.
Hello Houseplants strive to provide the highest quality plants and ensure that they arrive at your doorstep in excellent condition. Due to the perishable nature of plants, we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.
Eligibility for Returns:
Damaged Plants: If your plants arrive and have been damaged in transit, we will gladly offer a replacement or refund. Please ensure you take photographs of the damage and notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Incorrect Plants: If you receive the wrong plant, we will either send the correct plant or issue a refund. Please ensure you notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Unhealthy Plants: If your plant arrives in poor health, please notify us within 48 hours with detailed photos and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Non-Eligible Returns:
Change of Mind: We do not accept returns or offer refunds for plants if you change your mind after purchase.
Improper Care: We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for plants that have been damaged or become unhealthy due to improper care after they have been received.
Extended Delays in Reporting Issues: Any issues reported beyond the 48-hour window from delivery are not eligible for returns or refunds.
How to Request a Return:
Contact Us: Email us at contact@hellohouseplants.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the plant(s), and a detailed description of the issue.
Approval Process: Once we receive your email, we will review your request and respond within 2 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
Return Shipping: If a return is authorised, we will provide instructions for safely packaging and shipping the plant back to us. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect plant).
Refunds and Replacements:
Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.
Replacements: If you opt for a replacement, we will ship the new plant(s) to you at no additional cost once your return is received and processed.
Customer Responsibility:
Correct Information: Ensure that your delivery address and contact information are correct at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Immediate Unpacking: Please ensure you are at the delivery address on the day of delivery to receive your order and unpack your plants immediately upon arrival to ensure they remain healthy. Follow the care instructions provided with your order.
