Bionsen takes its inspiration from Japan. Natural thermal springs, called onsens, occur throughout Japan. Often based in beautiful natural surroundings, they are havens of peace, and a place of ritual relaxation. Many of the thermal springs are rich in important mineral, or ‘bio-elements’, which have proved important in skin well-being. Bionsen is aluminium free, because it is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant.
